Mobile Physical Therapy is your typical Outpatient PT but wherever is most convenient or appropriate for your goals, the opportunities are endless!

You do not need a referral from a doctor. All you need is a problem or a goal and I can create a plan to help you get there!

Mobile means that I come to you to deliver your physical therapy services instead of you having to drive and waste time getting to an appointment, worrying about traffic and arriving early or on-time, and fitting it in your busy schedule. I can come to your home, your private workspace, gym, park, trail, etc.

Inherently, it also means that your sessions will always be one-on-one with full undivided attention of your physical therapist. The sessions can be as long as necessary for your needs.

I will bring all the necessary equipment for your session, but will also help you learn how to best use any equipment that you already have (equipment can also mean towels, ropes, jugs of milk, etc - anything you have on hand). I will get creative and teach you how to use what you already have to achieve your physical therapy, fitness, or wellness goals.

I mentioned your PT could be “wherever is most appropriate for your goals”. This means realistically thinking about your typical habits and where you will actually be doing your activities or exercises. This will be the best location for your session, so that I can adapt any exercise or activity to your individual environment. This specificity will improve your daily function and exercise adherence. You’ll have already practiced the activity or exercise where its needed and it will feel familiar and normal when you do it on your own.

If you’re uncomfortable going into an outpatient physical therapy clinic because of the continued spread of COVID-19, mobile PT only puts you in contact with ONE additional person. Maybe you have underlying health conditions, or maybe you are just anxious about your own health & safety or reducing the spread of germs to your family. Cleaning and safety precautions have been implemented following all CDC and local health department guidelines. A brief summary of these precautions: all equipment will be cleaned before and after each use, masks will always be worn indoors and within 6 ft of you, hand-washing or sanitizing will be performed frequently, gloves will be worn as needed or requested, and no service would be provided if I or you had a suspected exposure or had any symptoms of COVID-19 or other flu.
